Faculty of Dentistry
The five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery program is designed incorporating competency-based learning principles in academic and practical elements of Dentistry are studied and practiced. You will learn about the various body systems in health and disease, with topics geared towards the requirements of a dentist in training. You will study the major bodily systems in both health and sickness, with themes catered to a dentist's educational needs. Through the completion of a series of simulation exercises, in which a large portion of the time is devoted to step-by-step learning of clinical information and practical skills required for competency in dentistry, you will also learn the operative practical skills. in additional to the complementary educational activities such as seminar, laboratory class work, tutorials, presentation of clinical cases and projects. The purpose of the scientific library is to offer library and information services to the university's researchers, professors, and students. The library is open to all public, and in addition to the students and staff of the University, it also serves other customers in need of information.
On Thursday 25/01/2024, a meeting took place at the headquarters of the Sudanese Consulate in the presence of Counselor Dr. Kamal Fath Al-Rahman with an official delegation from the Presidency of the University to discuss ways to overcome the difficulties facing Sudanese students and their enrollment in the university due to the circumstances that brotherly Sudan is going through and to provide an appropriate environment that ensures the smoothness of the educational process and the quality of outputs.
